Philadelphia has always had its detractors. But mostly from its own. This is odd considering that successful young people see it so differently. Affordable housing and great restaurants make it a very desirable place to live. These bay windows reflect an earlier affluent era when Philadelphia was known as the workshop of the world. Just imagine, no computers, no cell phones, no cable, no cars.
