Description
New York City in the 1870's was an exciting and sometimes dangerous city. Traffic on lower Broadway was so snarled that accidents were the norm. Overexcited drivers and horses often got into scrapes. The passengers had to fend for themselves. And this was before texting. Streets were full of horse manure and urine. Crossing corners before streetlights was a real challenge. But things got better. Cars were invented.
