Artist's Description
Every city has its style. But San Francisco is unique throughout the world. It's colorful and exuberant victorian architecture, breathtaking views of the harbor, and colorful history make this a world destination. At the corner of Steiner Street and California Ave. (1057) Steiner sits the mansion of a former lumber baron. Later it was owned by a family prominent in the musical scene. And now is a famous bread and breakfast known as the Chateau Tivoli. I think the Tivoli was an opera house destroyed in the Earthquake and fire of 1906. The interiors have been restored to their late Victorian brilliance.
