A beautiful woodland scene!

Artist's Description

When Philadelphia was founded by William Penn in 1682, they planned well. The original city was what is now the nucleus of what is known as center city. In1854 it grew to its present size. The city fathers set aside a large tract of of forrest and woodland that became Fairmount Park. It has remained so to this day. When I took this photo in 1978 using Kodachrome slide film, I never dreamed that it would be possible to share it with anyone around the world. The Park was a nice place to forget things and enjoy the serenity.
