This is one of my favorite photographs. I was walking down Commercial Street in Provincetown on a rainy late summer afternoon and spotted this lonely chair. It reminded me of how life can be sometimes. I'd like to believe a famous celebrity came along, rescued it, and took it back home on the plane to Malibu.

Love the feeling here. Did you rescue the chair? It looks like it is headed to the dump. I really love old furniture!

you are funny. Great happy ending to a chair story

I took this in Provincetown, Mass. on Cape Cod about ten years ago. That chair just spoke to me. I went back a year later and the chair was gone. And, the sun was out.
