Product Details

Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption.   The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton.   Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").

Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

Artist's Description

The flat iron shaped "Sentinel Building" along Columbus Avenue leads the way into San Francisco's hip North Beach section.
Begun in 1906, and completed in 1907, this building has an interesting history.
Under construction when the earthquake and fire hit, it was miraculously completed in 1907. Originally meant to be headquarters of graft tainted political boss Abe Ruef, it later became a creative hub. There was the Hungry I club in the basement. The Kingston Trio owned the building at one time. There's a famous recording studio on the premises. And Francis Ford Coppola now owns it, housing more recent creative enterprises.

About Ira Shander

Ira Shander

Hello, and thank-you for taking time to visit my web site. As a long time illustrator specializing in pen and ink, photography developed as a means for me to become expressive in color. My specialty as a line artist has always been history and architecture. I've created series for major companies, publishers, and cultural institutions throughout the United States. Take time to visit some of my galleries. I welcome commissions such as house portraits and hobby related subject matter. Again, take a peek at the galleries to get a better idea. I hope that you enjoy both means of expression and visit often. Thanks, Ira Shander
