Description
Philadelphia has always had a reputation for being an insular, rather tough city. A place where neighborhoods defined you. but when you look beyond the stereotypes you find the opposite. Thriving universities and hospitals. Young people reinventing old neighborhoods. Making them hip and exciting. Philadelphia is also a mural city.
When I took this photo from the top of a twenty five story apartment building, I didn't realize what the mural was. If you look closely you'll Billy Penn,Rocky, and Ben Franklin testing the brew with the Philadelphia Art Museum in the background.
Also I noticed most people have white roofs these days. To reflect the sun's rays and keep the house cooler in the summer. A better way to live. Look closely at the Art Museum and you'll see what inspired the title.
