Description
During the early days of the U.S. republic (1800-1830), architecture, clothing, and furniture in the classic style was all the rage. Earth tones such as Naples yellow and white were everywhere. Churches, homes, and public buildings fashioned after Greek temples were considered high style. This is an Agfa slide from 50 years ago. It faded a little. And so this is my second attempt to restore it. Agfa was different than Kodachrome. A little more pastel and warm with punchy blacks. They both had their merits when exposed properly.
