Description
San Franciscans probably laugh at visitors and tourists trying to negotiate their hilly streets. I'm glad I went into training four months before my visit. This particular cottage probably dates from the 1880's by the look of the detail and windows. Beautifully restored and painted. What a treasure.

An architectural gem, for sure! I love the pink stonework. It is so pretty and so welcoming! I dare not ask what the price tag would be!

Hi Kathryn, Actually it's all painted wood. No stonework. Redwood was useful and available locally from nearby forests. It proved to be impervious and hardy to local weather conditions. San Francisco has become an overpriced haven for techies and millionaires. Everyday people cannot flourish there. This one story cottage is probably out of sight cost and tax wise. Nice to visit. No place like home.
