Description
Vienna, Prague, and Budapest were the three main cities of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Each thrived creatively in their own unique ways. The secession style of art and architecture was the bridge between historicism and modern in Central Europe. I discovered this building by accident.
All of the original 1905 lighting, mosaic floors, and marble and bronze fittings were in pristine condition. The original stained glass windows were in place. Business was being conducted throughout the building. And here was this masterpiece hidden in plain site.
