Description
Thomas Edison is credited with inventing the electric incandescent lamp. In truth there were others such as Swan in England who were really co creators of the invention. Edison was a good promoter and entrepreneur. He understood the practical application of his invention; and the need for networks. Four years ago, when LED lamps were first introduced commercially, the public as usual scoffed.
With rapid development and improvement in the quality of LED's, Not to mention the savings in electricity, the old light bulb seems like a quaint relic from the dawn of the industrial age.
